Beaver Creek has always been a special place for these two. It is where they spend pretty much every weekend skiing and was the perfect place for Jon to Propose. So, naturally Jodi and Jon wanted an elegant mountain wedding in Beaver Creek and man did they get just that! We wanted the Chuppah to enhance the beautiful ceremony location and not detract from the gorgeous landscape, so we kept it simple by covering it in tons of greenery. When guests entered the ballroom for the reception, they were greeted with luscious tall blooms and gold eucalyptus leaves. We always try and do things a little differently, so we used gold eucalyptus leaves as charger around an ombre water color menu. Candle light filled the room and candy was falling from the ceiling (literally with our hanging candy bar). Guests danced all night long to the amazing talents of Funkiphino! It was such a gorgeous evening filled with so many detailed elements!
We traveled to Wyoming to the land of gorgeous landscapes, cattle and fabulous country music for Samantha & Jarod's wedding which was held and the groom's parents property. The decor hit the nail on the head when it came to rustic elegance. The bride made her own bouquet and table arrangements filling them with yellow, orange and white blooms and tons of greenery to compliment the colors of the surrounding landscape. The ceremony and reception being set on a ranch in Wyoming tied in western elements such as with the esport cards which were made with spurs. One of our other favorite elements were the blue and white napkins that tied in the beautiful Wyoming blue sky. Guests enjoyed an evening of great food, tears and laughter, and fantastic country music! We just can't get over the way that Jarod looked at his bride, it melted our hearts!

There are some couples that just make our hearts sing and reignite our passion for what we do. Ally and Aimee had this amazing way about them that wrapped every vendor they came across in pure love. They allowed me to run with unique design ideas including a meandering table, personalized thank you notes for every guest, branded cheeseboards and two days of celebrating! Luscious floral arrangements with soft toned flowers and greenery filled the long table, perfectly complimenting the stunning food by Blackbelly Catering. It is amazing what happens when a couple really trusts their wedding planning team to come up with greatness. The images below speak for themselves.

Megan and Bryan met while attend the University of Colorado, so it was only natural for them to get married back in Boulder. Rembrandt Yard was the perfect light-filled location for these two to say their vows. Megan's mom spent months creating 1000 paper cranes as a symbol of lucky, commitment and fertility, which served as a stunning backdrop for both the ceremony and reception.Their bright color palette was such a breath of fresh air for our fall season. CU's campus was scattered in leaves and set the scene for the perfect first look photographs.
We are thrilled to see this wedding featured on Borrowed and Blue
We are honored to work with many amazingly talented artists who bring beauty to our events everyday. We must say that Rachael Teufel's amazing reinvention of the geode in sugar takes the cake!
When we asked Rachael to create a cake that would be the centerpiece of our vignette, designed around the idea of joy, she was excited to see what we had planned. Once we decided to use the natural beauty of geodes in our design we knew that Rachael would bring the geode to life in cake. She did just that times 100!
“This cake took about 16 hands-on hours to create with several more hours of planning involved prior to making the cake,” Rachael of Intricate Icings.
The stunning “Joy” inspired vignette showcased a variety of geodes. It included rich textures, deep colors and lots of light letting the natural beauty and shape of geodes lead the design. Joy speaks of experiencing something that pleases the eye, warms your heart or soothes the soul.

How do you make a splash in the Denver Events scene? Plan an event centered around a unique inspiration, add a splash of fire, a hint of mystery, and pack the room with amazing professionals. That is just what we did for the launch of First Look Events and Moss Denver!
When we first set out to plan a styled shoot we knew that we wanted to use an unexpected inspiration for our designs. We settled on a common thread of Emotion to create one-of-a-kind vignettes to inspire the wedding and events industry. Our vignettes explore the idea that human emotions can inspire event design in a fresh way.
Taking the experience beyond the eyes alone…
Joy is the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying. Joy speaks of experiencing something that pleases the eye, warms your heart or soothes the soul.
We used mineral formations, clear acrylic, muted gold luster, mixed metals, unique geode specimens and polished marble to bring Joy to Life.
Prediction: Geodes are going to rock this season! The cake for this vignette created by, the incredibly talented Intricate Icings, went viral within 24 hours of this piece of art hitting the internet.
Passion is the single emotion that fuels one’s actions. It sets fire to our dreams and aspirations. A fire burns within all of our souls driving us to achieve greatness.
We used fire, movement, reflective linens, deep florals and the written word to bring Passion to life.
Prediction: Unique centerpieces will start to light-up the event scene.
Wonder makes us stand present in the moment while longing for more. It’s magical emotion that can bring immediate curiosity and amazement followed by serene peace. Wonder is what keeps our minds alive and free.
We used white marble, luxurious textured fabrics, hanging florals, water, grass hedges, glowing candlelight to bring Wonder to Life.
Prediction: The whimsical side of love will be on full display this season.
Additional Gratitude to the talented vendors who provided libations and food for our guests
